PYHA has secured an additional hour of ice time each week for 12U and 14U players who are interested in the development of "higher level" hockey skills and strategies. Interested 14U and 12U players will pay an additional fee (estimated to be $200 ) to cover additional practices. There may be opportunities to play travel/rep-level games and tournaments at an additional cost. The team manager will collect this fee.
ALL NEW PLAYERS MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF AGE AND CITIZENSHIP WITH OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION SUCH AS A COPY OF A BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR A PASSPORT. THE REGISTRAR WILL NEED TO COLLECT THESE DOCUMENTS.
"New Player" Discount Fee ($50)*
Any player who is new to PYHA and registering as either a 12U, 10U, or 8U is entitled to register at a one-time lower rate. If you are registering both new and returning players, register the new player as the 1st player for this discount to work.
Sibling Discount ($25)*
If you are registering more than one youth player in your immediate family this season, your family can receive a $25 discount on the registration fee for the second (and any additional) child(ren). This discount does not apply to the first player registering in a family, new players, or players in the 6U division.
In order for the registration system to recognize that your family is registering multiple players:
*Due to already low registration fees, discounts do not apply to 6U players.
Families taking advantage of the special fee for New Players (8U- through 12U-level players) will be eligible to receive only one discount (e.g. Sibling or New Player, but not both).
If you need another payment option, please email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. PLEASE SEND THE EMAIL AND RECEIVE A REPLY BEFORE YOU REGISTER WITH PYHA. Thank you!
While volunteerism remains critical to the functioning of Palouse Youth Hockey and helps keep costs down while supporting our programs, due to the extenuating circumstances of the pandemic and its impacts on families, PYHA is waiving the League Service requirement for the 2020-2021 season. PYHA does encourage families to support our programs in whatever way you are able during this season and to recognize that our coaches, managers, board members, and others are continuing to volunteer their time so PYHA can have a season.
PYHA will be working to improve on its league service initiative to bring back a new system in the 2021 -2022 season.
Hockey equipment is available to borrow for the season on a first-come, first-served basis for $40.28 (tax included). For more information, please read the Gear Rental Agreement below.
